I created Women Who Game NZ for a simple reason: I was looking for a community like this, and I couldn't find one.
There were groups for specific games or intense esports orgs, but there wasn't a general "living room" for women and gender-diverse gamers in New Zealand to just hang out, connect, and exist without judgment and toxicity.
So, I decided to build one.
WWGNZ isn't about being the biggest server in the world. It's about being a safe and fun space. Whether you are a mum stealing ten minutes on console, a cozy gamer tending to your farm, or a competitive player climbing the ranks, you are welcome here.
We are a verified, judgment-free community where you don't have to prove your "gamer credentials." You just have to be you.
